Huntington
Tight Knit Community
Huntington is the second-largest city in West Virginia and is the county seat of Cabell County. Huntington sits on the Ohio River and is home to Marshall University (the second largest university in West Virginia). Even though it is a larger city, it still is a tight-knit community where many families live. There are activities available for everyone in this area, such as the Heritage Farm Museum and Village, Ritter Park, Pullman Square, Huntington Museum of Art, Museum of Radio and Technology, Camden Park, Harris Riverfront Park, and the Joan C. Edwards Stadium. First Response Restoration always enjoys doing jobs in Huntington because of the kind people and great atmosphere. Please give us a call if you are ever looking to have any work done on your Huntington residence.
Garage Door Repair
In the photo to the left, you will see a garage door and shutter. After a mishap where the homeowner confused the gas and break, there was extensive damage to the garage door, the garage door opener on the interior, and the framing around the opening. On our initial visit, we had to board up the entrance to secure the structure to prevent anyone from entering. After working with the homeowners and insurance company, we were able to reach approval for the repairs. The result put the homeowners at ease. It is crazy how such a simple mistake can cause considerable inconvenience. If you find yourself in a similar situation, give us a call.
